We live in a world where millions of children are starving right now in the face of billions of people who are obese or overweight, yet strangely malnourished also. Let’s take a look at what food is supposed to be in terms of nutrition and at the processes of the body. Nutrition could be defined as the science of how food affects the survival of ones body. We all agree that if a person goes with out food their body could not properly grow, be healthy, and reproduce. Without the chemicals called nutrients we experience through food we could not stay warm internally, our senses would be dulled, our mind would be fatigued and you could not regenerate and repair tissue. Food stuff in its original form contain bio available amino acid chains (Protein), and fatty acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and water that are easily recognizable to your body thus earning their name as Nutrients.
When you sit down to eat your meals the nutrients that are present in the food are released from the food for digestion. Most of your digestion, especially if you are eating food extremely denatured, processed or cooked, should be taking place in your mouth during the chewing process. I have heard from great naturopathic doctors who suggest chewing cooked and processed foodstuff until it basically becomes water. This ensures you are mixing enough saliva enzymes into the process of digestion. Digestion takes place even more as the food travels into the stomach and small intestines, where digestive enzymes juices and acids begin to further liquefy the food as it is pushed through the digestive tract. If the villous lining of the intestines is healthy this is the point when most of the body's assimilation of nutrients into the bloodstream will take place. The nutrients that do happen to make it through into the bloodstream from the intestinal lining are delivered to parts of the body where they are needed for further chemical reactions that ensure cellular regeneration. The elements of the food eaten that are not absorbed, continue to move through the intestinal tract and are eliminated through the colon as waste.
Once nutrients in the form of carbohydrates, proteins, minerals, and fat are digested they provide the energy the body needs to maintain all of its functions. Energy from food is measured in calories by science. Nutrients fit into two categories, essential and nonessential. Essential nutrients are nutrients your body must get from outside food sources because the human body does not produce enough of them on its own to ensure strong solid healthy growth. An essential nutrient would be considered water, carbohydrates, amino acid proteins, fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals. Nonessential nutrients are created by the body so they aren't essential to be obtained from food. Nonessential nutrients would be something like cholesterol or collagen, which are both present in an animal’s cellular structure. Since we are on a science roll lets speak about what fatty acids, amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals are.
Fat is a nutrient that consist of chains of fatty acids attached to a substance called glycerol.. Fats are the most powerful and concentrated energy providing nutrient. Fats provide 9 calories of energy per gram which make it a heavy hitter. Fatty acids play a part in helping the human body to absorb certain vitamins and minerals. They also are in a large part the reason for the membrane that envelopes our cells. The body also uses this nutrient for heat and cushion for the organs.
Fats are categorized as saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated according to each of their own design and structure. In animal fats there is a chemical structure called cholesterol. Vegetable and plant fats are rich in monounsaturated, polyunsaturated and medium chain saturated fatty acids. As you will learn from our EcoAerobic formula, medium chain saturated fatty acids are extremely easy for your body to digest and use for energy as opposed to the saturated fats found in animal fats. The healthiest fats on the Earth have always been known to be avocado, olives, almonds, seeds and nuts and finally as of the last 15 years especially we have rediscovered the tremendous benefits of the medium chain fatty acids in coconut oil. As a matter of fact I was even a bit surprised the first time I walked into a vegan restaurant and saw they were using coconut oil that I had always heard will give you heart attacks!?!
To live in America and not have a cholesterol problem either in ones own life or in their family tree is a rare thing. The problem with fats, especially the saturated fats you find in fast food is that it produces cholesterol. Cholesterol is already produced in our liver and small intestines in order to protect nerve fibers, produce vitamin D, build necessary cellular membrane, and coordinate many of the bodies various functions. When we consume cholesterol from animal saturated fatty acids it creates an imbalance in the healthy amount needed naturally in our bloodstream. When there is an abundance of saturated fatty acids in the blood, a persons electrical charge is drastically reduced which affects the energy level and the ability of the body to process nutrients. When large amounts of cholesterol are present in the blood it has been proven to cause heart disease, strokes, and poor circulation thus decreasing the amount of oxygen moving to the cells. Cholesterol is carried through the body through special couriers classified as either high density lipoproteins (HDL) or low density lipoproteins (LDL). HDL is sometimes called good cholesterol because it removes cholesterol from the walls of our arteries and returns it to the liver to be eliminated with our wastes. LDL moves through the body in a manner that produces cholesterol plaque on the walls of the arteries. Cholesterol causing fats can be found in all of our classic foods - pizza, beef, pork, fried anything, ice cream and on and on.. The healthiest saturated fat on the planet comes from organic virgin coconut oil, which we will be discussing in complete detail on the coconut oil page. Healthy fats comprise about 15 percent of my diet while unhealthy fats, including but not limited to hydrogenated and trans fat, make up about 38 percent of the diet of people who eat foods primarily fashioned from the standard American diet. Monounsaturated fats can be found in vegetable oils like olive, avocados, nuts, and seeds which we consider a higher consciousness than the poly unsaturated fats found in margarines, butters, safflower oil, soybean and corn oil. Polyunsaturated fats in excess have a reputation for not being healthy because they come from many foods that are genetically modified and are allergens. They also can reduce healthy levels of HDL in your body similar to unhealthy saturated fatty acids. A major issue in the consumption of cooked fats is that they are also very acid forming to the body. Depending on the cooking method of animal products, there is also the element of carcinogenic mutations that take can place during the process. Carbohydrates are the primary source of energy for the human body. This is one of the most impactive reasons we are up against a fungal science project taking place inside the most bodies. Carbohydrates provide 4 calories of energy per gram. When carbohydrates are processed by the body, sugar glucose is made. Glucose plays an important role in helping the body maintain tissue protein, balance the nervous system and metabolize fats. Glucose is absorbed into the blood through the walls of the intestines. Glucose is used to make red blood cells in the intestines and to feed the brain cells. It is also stored as glycol in the muscles and liver. Excess glucose gets delivered to fat cells to be stored as fat. Glycogen is like a safety deposit box for emergency energy for it can be converted back into glucose for the body to use as needed. Fructose and galactose that result from the breakdown of carbohydrates are also used by the body as energy.
The only carbohydrates we recommend are clear blue agave nectar and low glycemic index fruits with a heavy emphasis on fresh berries. These are carbohydrates that do not counteract the goal of building an 85/15 percent ratio of aerobic/anaerobic bacteria in the intestines. Most peoples carbohydrate intake consist of complex carbohydrates such as whole grain breads, white flour breads, pasta, corn, beans, and potatoes. These complex carbohydrates consist of a very complicated molecular structure and call for the body to have to break them down into simpler forms to be able to obtain energy from. Complex carbohydrates digest at a speed that help maintain healthful levels of glucose in the blood, yet the starchy forms of carbohydrate digest so slowly that anaerobic bacteria have a chance to feed off of the sugars contained in them. A connection was made in the early 90's that tie potatoes, pasta, rice, bread, and pastries to thyroid and pancreatic cancer. The amounts of fungus and molds on most these starchy foods are the arch enemies of aerobic bacteria and the die hard allies of anaerobic bacteria. Here is a list of symptoms these fungi and mold have created in controlled animal experiments. The fungi that are commonly found on processed starchy foods are Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus.
As an aside, the closer your bacterial balance is to the ideal ratio the better equipped you will be to destroy any molds, fungus, virus or bacteria that may enter your body.

Now I don't know about you but I told myself along time ago I’m not going to eat anything that I can't pronounce and I'm still standing by it. Many nutritionists today say we need to eat more complex carbohydrates instead of refined sugars. We say in the name aerobic bacteria and our ecoaerobic goal to leave both refined grains and refined sugars out of your diet and eat fruit with a low glycemic index and clear blue agave nectar, or if you know how to forage and find wild honey then go for it. An important component of unrefined complex carbohydrates is the fiber that helps to move waste through your digestive tract which is 30 feet long. If your body ecology is at optimal balance and you have an 85 percent aerobic bacterial balance in the intestines, the amount of insoluble fiber you need in your diet is not nearly as important for wastes moves through your system according to the numbers of times a day you eat. Ultimately carbohydrates should be bound to fibers to regulate the sugar digestion and the amount of work the pancreas has to do. This is why we highly recommend blending in the EcoAerobic formula.
